Lets compare two boards of the same brand.
Men's board with a flex rating of 5 and a women's board of the same rating of 5 as well. Would you say the women's board is softer than the men's based on the fact that people say women's boards are generally softer? or would they be of the same flex? |

flex ratings are typically complete garbage even when comparing the samee brand..

hey you guys are right.. i just called up mervin about it.. and they said that a female board and a youth board with the same flex rating doesn't mean it has the same flexibility.. the kids ones is obviously going to be softer
so i'd assume that the same would apply with men's and women's boards too.
