Default Second Board

What's up guys. I posted a few days ago about choosing a board. Have narrowed it down and want to know your opinions on these. O ya I am 5' 8, 190 lbs. Size 10 Ambush boots. Will be riding mostly in CO, and Ski Santa Fe, NM.

2013 K2 Happy Hour
2013 Rome Reverb Camber
2013 Rossignol Templar Magtek
13/14 Niche Crew

Appreciate your input

what is your other board? do you mean second as in 'additional' or 'replacement'?

also where in CO?

i ride ski santa fe sometimes, and although i like to ride that place, my park board will handle "all mountain" there

there's some really great deals out there on 3 of these boards, especially the rossignol and the reverb...

K2 Happy Hour Snowboard 2013 | evo outlet

Rossignol Templar Magtek Snowboard 2013 | evo outlet

Rome Reverb Snowboard 2013 | evo outlet

all 3 of those boards seem like great choices, i'm not real familiar with the niche board, can't comment much on that one. good luck!

I meant second as replacement. Rode a Morrow 146 before. Thanks Vandy for the deals. Just saw them and now just have to make a decision.

O ya I am going with some buddies to Aspen for thanksgiving. I am stationed in NE NM so I plan on going anywhere not too far. Always wanted to ride Vail, Breckenbridge, Wolf Creek and some other CO resorts. I would to do a meet up and ride

What's your ability level and riding style? The K2 is going to be significantly more aggressive than the Rome and Rossi (no idea about Niche). From my experience with the Reverb Rocker and what I have read on the Rossi those are going to be on the more playful/freestyle side of all mt.

if you ever wanna ride taos, gimme a shout. i don't know very much about the decks you mentioned, but i assume that any mid flex, all mountain board in the low to mid 160's size range would work for what you mentioned.

at 190 lbs, you're going to fucking love being on a board that's the right size for you. a 146 probably felt really sketchy.

wolf creek gets dumped on compared to santa fe. even though it's a somewhat smallish place to ride - you'll definitely want the float and stability there. especially on the back side

Thanks Brewtwon. I already bought the K2 157. Got 2013/14 Burton Cartel Bindings. I will probably get another board before the season starts.
Stan_Darsh I am definitely down for Taos. It is on the list. I heard Angelfire is really good too. The 146 after a while just felt to loose. Took a really hard wipeout on the last day and knew I had to change it before next season.

I will tell you that last year's Rossi Templar was definitely soft on the "mid flex" scale. I think Rossi rated it as a 6/10. I'd say it was more like a 4/10. It was soft.
