Props to this forum!

I have to give props to this forum! I decided to get back into boarding this year (after about 8 years off) and I had been scouring the different online board shops for the best prices. After reading the horror stories of some of the online shops, I decided to check out the local shops instead. Since I was looking for a specific setup and was buying my board so late in the season, I had trouble finding exactly what I wanted. However, what I found is that if the local shops didn't have what I wanted, they were quick to offer up suggestions of other shops that might have my items in stock. I live in Minneapolis, MN and after visiting all of the local shops I could handle and getting all kinds of referrals, I ended up buying my deck from a shop in Duluth, MN, my bindings from a shop in Milwaukee, WI, and my boots from a shop in Minneapolis. The deck was actually delivered the day after I ordered and I didn't pay any shipping costs. The bindings were delivered 2 days after I ordered, and again, no shipping costs. I couldn't be more stoked! The setup I ended up with is:

So, after all of that, I just want to thank all of you that posted your warnings about the "less than honest" online snowboard shops out there!
