Help with a new board

Hey everybody, I am in need of a new board and I would like some opinions from all of you.

I am 5'10, 166 lbs, wear size 9.5 boot, intermediate rider.

I am heading off to college soon and I am planning on joining the snowboard club at the college I'm going to. They take trips to Stevens Pass, Snoqualmie Pass, and Mt. Baker, (basically around the Seattle area) and one trip to Whistler in January. My current board is a Yes. The Basic 2013 155cm with Union Force bindings and K2 Darkos, but I've been wanting to get a freeride board for a while, especially for the Whistler trip. I do have a budget of roughly $400 so I probably can only look at past seasons' boards. On the top of my list right now is the GNU Beast 158 but I would like others opinions before I can make my decision just so I can be completely sure about my decision.

Any opinions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
