Default Giro Sizing vs Boeri sizing?

Im interested in getting a Giro helmet, probably the omen, but Im not sure what size to get. Ive got a Large Boeri that unfortunately is a little large for me, I can fit a beanie under it and still have a little room around my head, so I think Id be about a medium comfortably in Boeri sizing but dont know about Giro. does anyone have any info on how the sizings relate from company to company, unfortunately non of the local dealers around me carry giro, because everything they carry is a burton brand so its all R.E.D.

if anyone has any knowledge on the sizing Id like to hear it so I can get a nice looking brain bucket that fits
