Default YES PYL vs Capita BSOD

After some posts in a prior topic I had up I've narrowed my choice down to getting either a YES PYL or Capita BSOD. Looking for opinions. I'm 73in tall, 230lbs, size 12 us boots. My criteria was a sintered base directional board that is something on an all mountain board that can handle powder really well and float so I can ride around and hit powder stashes between runs and be able to enjoy both the powder spots and the groomers and hard packed stuff it takes to get there.

BSOD comes in 165 length with 262 waist width, or 162 with 259 waist length

YES PYL comes with 161w length with 262 waist width, or 161 with 254 waist width

I ride a 161 PYL ( not wide ) @ 200 lbs. No experience with BSOD

Given your weight, as much as I love my PYL and cannot be more of a fan boy about it, the bigger size of the 165 BSOD will likely give you superior float in the white room.

The PYL is one of those boards that simply never lets you down. It is an effortless board to ride and almost lulls you into thinking that it is not going to be there when the going gets steep or deep, but just ask it to be there and it is. I'd give it a higher rating, but the scale only goes this high.

I am sure others will chime in re the BSOD. One thing I'm sure of, either of these choices are solid.
Get it. Wax it. Ride it.

I have a 161 PYL (regular). Not sure the degree of your stance but here are a few pics of my PYL with Rome 390 Boss L/XL bindings and 10.5 boots to give you an idea if you should go with the regular or wide version. Hope this helps.
