Default Never Summer: Difference between '09 and '10?

Does anyone if there is a difference between the 2009 and the 2010 NS Infinity? (Or the SL - since they are essentially identical). I rode the '10 SL this past weekend, and fell in love with it. Unfortunately, at 151 it is just a tad too big for my liking. Therefore, I am considering getting the Infinity. Any thoughts?

Oh, I should probably mention that I would like to go with the '09 Infinity-R since it's last season's and cheaper. The NS rep on the mountain said that the design and construction have not changed in the SL - only the graphics. Is this true? Does it hold up for the Infinity as well?

Thanks!

I think that is true. They are going to be the same.

Perhaps you should ask someone who is in the know though.

Message burtonavenger. He gets to demo prototypes for next years models. So he's already been on several of the 09/10 boards. Pretty sure he didn't ride the Infinity, but probably knows if there are going to be any significant changes to it or not.

I hear the flex pattern is the only thing they changed. slr is suppose to be slightly stiffer too.

Ok let me crush the rumor that the boards changed for next year. The SL R did not get stiffer. Stop reading hybrid sessions and taking what he has to say at face value. The Infinity R and SL R are based off the same idea's and flex patterns. With the Infinity being a hair softer and narrower.

The only board that changes for next year is the evo gets a tad bit softer.

The only major change in NS line is all the boards are now going to have reverse camber except for the Titan. No other real changes other then that and graphics are slatted for never summer as far as I have found out. The Pandora R and the Circuit R (their strictly park boards) will only have a 1 year warranty and the other will have the normal 3 year.

That is all the main info I could pull up on them. I am digging the new graphics on the Heritage and it is the board I am looking to snag next season.

Thanks Avenger!

The only thing that bugs me are the damn graphics on the '09. They are ridiculously girly and not my taste at all. The '10 is just odd with the audio cassette and the bird thing . I know, I know, it's about the ride and not the look, but why can't they make a girl's model that actually looks GOOD?

[I really like the style of the SL]

Well in 2010 the Premier will have rocker, im not sure if the 09 had variogrip? But the new one will have both i believe. So it will be better, worth the extra money from an 09 on sale? Dunno

One nice thing about the Infinity is that you might actually be able to find one. All of the mens boards for NS are getting much harder if not impossible to find in certain sizes...mostly just the sizes at the extremes are still in stock if at all in most places.

This is a killer deal..sucks you cant use the X25 extra 25% off deal but whatever 335 w/ free shipping in what sounds like your perfect size
Never Summer Infinity Rocker (Black) Snowboard - Women's 2009 : Snowboards | evo

And IMHO i like those graphics but whatever :/
