Default K2 Believer or Bataleon Goliath

Okay guys, here is the story, and a pre-thanks for any help you can give.

I'm looking at getting a new board before the very end of the season and ended up picking up a K2 Believer this week. The problem is that I wear an 11.5 boot (Salomon non-F series, 29.5) and the waist on the Believer is only 253 mm (I got the 161) and I have a good bit of toe overhang on it and am worried.

I'm also now considering getting a Bataleon Goliath Wide instead. I've heard great things about them.

I consider myself to be an intermediate to advanced rider, mostly doing freeride. I'm looking for a board that will help me working on spins coming off booters, etc. So lightweight and poppy, and yet still able to do well in powder is what I'm looking for. I'm 6'2", about 200 lbs.

Anyone with larger boots ridden the Believer? Which would you suggest?

Get the Goliath. K2 doesn't make the greatest stuff, they should have just stayed with making skis.

2007/2008 K2 darkstar=One of the only good things they have made.

k2 makes great stuff. Im disappointed in teh durability of their puzzle piece bases but other than that I love their boards. I have had less problems with it than either one of my GNU's or my forum. and its doing better than my bataleon when it comes to taking a beating

after having both a bataleon and a K2 i find it a difficult choice to provide input on, I love TBT, but at the same time my k2 is so much fun, especially when spring riding.

honestly Ive got a k2 darkstar 155 and an 11.5 boot and I dont have many problems, the believer should suit you fine, but if your curious about TBT, its super fun and you wont regret. shit Id keep the believer and get a bataleon, I wish I had a believer

RidePow....yeah, I wish. I ended up ordering the Bataleon and I'm going down to evo to pick it up tomorrow and return the Believer. Sick deal on the Bataleon atm.

Thanks for the advice all!
