I just bought my first board its a 09 ride agenda (freestyle) snowboard. I read the post on tuning the boards effective edge but the post didn't get into much detail about degree angles on edges. I do more freerideing but I eventually want to get into park and pipe. I'm not sure what degree angle I should be rideing so if somebody could explain the diffrence between a higher angle and lower angle. Basicly I'm just looking for more detail on what degree angle to use

Freeride=90* bevel. Keep them flat so yyou get better responce. This is the same for pipe.
Park/rails=88* bevel. You won't catch your edges on rails but turning will be harder. You can't mix the two styles of riding because they are completely different. |
