Hi all,
Just completed my first snowboarding season, and I am hooked like a crack addict! I bought a used board from a friend of mine (libtech dark series - 155) that's decent for mountain riding. It's an old board but still sufficient enough to use for another year. I'm now looking into getting a pure park board. After reading countless threads from this site, I finally decided on getting the 09 forum manual 153 (reason being, it is cheap, and got decent reviews). So now I'm on sierra snowboard's website, and just before i'm about to buy it, i notice that it's fully stocked. However, the other boards i was considering (Ride Kink, Rome artifact) were either out of stock or limited in sizes. So now i'm wondering whether the forum manual is really a decent board to get, since it seems as though nobody's rushing to buy it. I'm just wondering how it would really compare to a kink or artifact and if it's worth buying?? A little more information that might help: 1. Mainly looking for something that's soft enough to butter and press down the slopes 2. Land small to medium sized jumps in a terrain park 3. Eventually have enough courage to try rails. I'm 6'1, 165 lbs, size 11, and am looking for a 153. Thanks in advance for the advice. JP |
