i just want a really fast all mountain board so that i have a chance of keeping up with my brother(skis).

Would throw the atomic in as snowolf said. My atomic is fairly fast was kind of surprised by Atomic snowboards just kinda found one for a steal at $150 so it allowed me to get back on the slopes.

I find my Design is faster than my Anthem. That could be because I've gotten better riding my Design though. While I enjoy my Anthem on groomers, I have a lot more fun on the Design when I am on the mountain. I ride pretty much the way you described. But I have to admit, I STILL cannot keep up with my wife on skis.

Whatever you decide on, be sure and wax the hell out of it. If you have a sintered base and you're not waxing it regularly, you're wasting about 30% of your board's potential.

Any of bataleons stiffer boards(Enemy, Undisputed, Riot)
less edge contact on the snow = faster board
