burton bindings vs ride/rome bindings

now im currently riding a 09 burton uninc with 09 burton triads. i havent been riding too long 2 years to be exact but things r coming along quite well, anyways ive always riden burton dunno y thats just what happened but this year i got to try my friends' setups and i have to say while the rome and ride bindings were not as comfortable as the burton binding (think its the cushion in the straps) they did seem to have more board feel i dunno if its just me or is this the way its always been. and if it is true is there any binding that has the best of both worlds?

thanx in advance

The stiffer the binding, the more responce/control you have.

The Targa would be the perfect choice for you. They have a soft and a stiff ankle strap insert, offer great responce, and are extremely comfortable.

well i didnt really feel a difference in response very minimal at most and im not sure how to explain it but the ride bindings and the rome bindings just felt like lighter around my feet than the burton ones and had much better board feel. iuno maybe its just me but as for stiffness and response thats not really what im trying to get at.

The romes and rides will be lighter than most of the burtons.

Odds are you aren't advanced enough to notice the major difference between bindings.
