I recently had a 50mins snowboard taster session at Chill Factore in Manchester, England and loved it!! I am currently looking at snowboards but I am unsure as to what board to go for. I am an absolute beginner just want to be looking at boards before I start lessons. I would ideally want a board that could do a bit of everything.
I am 5ft 11”, I weigh 166 pounds and I am a size 8.5 – 9 boot. Thanks in advance. |

This is a often asked question on here
My advice is do your research and pick a board. you can use data from the net and talk to staff at the shop if you have one near you. As well advice from members here. I used a guides from these sites which was very helpful in my search. I am very pleased with my resultsBETTER SNOWBOARDING, All the info you need about snowboarding Snowboard Sizing Guide, Size Calculator Cheers!! |

![]() your looking at around a 155 for a do everything board. take a look at some boards you like and come back and then get some more help.. for beginners and to keep it in a decent price range check out capita, gnu, burton, k2, omatic, rome...also stay away from wides or midwides for sure..

I am looking at a few like the Burton Clash, the ride antic and one that had caught my eye was the flow merc, but i can't seem to find many reviews on the flow snowboard. I hear mixed reviews about the cheaper burtons. Does anybody have any experience of using the clash?
