how to clean nylon brushes???

what do you guys do to clean the nylon brushes... warm water, soap, special solvent or maybe something else???

I just run it against a scraper with some pressure. doesnt need to be squeaky clean

I prettymuch just run it along the edge of my board, or sometimes just wack it against the board itself then brush whatever comes off away.. I'm not sure if mine is a nylon brush though...
