So i was up at Okemo yesterday and it was great spring conditions, but the snow is defenitly melting fast. Anyways, i was going down Tuckered Out over at Jackson, went to pop a bs 180 off a little side hit, and to my horror landed right on a rock. Didn't do to much damage to me toe edge but it scared the crap outta me and i defenitly learned to look before u leap. Anyone else ever go over any grass or rocks by accident when spring riding?

Today they opened up the East Wall at A basin, it's been opened like 3 days all season. Evidently when I decided to ride down this snow spine it was actually a pointy rock, I 50-50'd it but I have a core shot the size of my cell phone on the base. Shit happens.

Not spring riding but I got a little over eager at the beginning of the season and went riding before there was a good base built up, yeah me and my buddy I went with both had to get our boards resurfaced. And I had my brand new board first time riding it, I was pissed at myself for being so stupid.

Spring riding can be fun..but thats when you take out your shitty throw away board. I learned my lesson couple weeks back when I took this run that noone was on, anyways ended up being a mine field of grassy dirt patches and ice..not fun

I like hopping ledges at hills by me. including this one where it was all mud except one patch of snow. So I hopped off the ledge of the catwalk, land on the snow hop again immediately and land on the run below it. Last year I was doing that at a different hill and ended up jumping over big rocks, scared the shit out of me
