Default Burton hero, peeling and cracking

Hi, my brother's hero developed a crack in the nose and the topsheet appears to be peeling off as a result

here are some pictures I took:

I contacted burton support and they said to send it in and they will evaluate whether or not burton covers it. What do you guys think?

what do you mean by impact? It's been used on rails and boxes and buttered, that's about it. Hasn't hit a wall or anything.

Is there a dent anywhere near where the crack has started? Burton may deny warranty if they think the board was abused.

No, no dents. I think it may be from buttering, but I fail to see how this should happen to a board that's marketed for ease of buttering.

your best bet is to take clearer pics if possible and email it to someone there. Thats what I did when my GNU was damaged. That will save you time and money. Although I think they will replace it, last year I saw a dominant completely cracked in half and the store where the kid bought it at was sending it back to Burton.

That's an impact right there. They'll cover it though it's their weak ass topsheet.
