sorry to do a thread like this
5'5", 135lbs, size 8 (i'm a short guy i know). I snowboard a lot but have recently decided to get a little more serious about it. I have gotten addicted to the parks but still love bombing down mountains. I was searching the forums and looks like I have seen these 2 as a decent option. question: are these good boards that I could grow into? what size would be good for me? i have a 147 now and i can maneuver it pretty well but am looking to get a board i can advance with AND into. I mainly board Tahoe. I wouldnt say i'm a beginner but I'm nowhere near expert. other board suggestions are very welcome. preferably under $250 but it's a loose range Thanks guys |

heyy my bro got an omatic boron n hes told me nothin but good things about it. Its definitely a real good board if ur around beginner to intermediate to learn on. Told me that it doesnt chatter at high speeds or nethin, definitely gettin a bang for ur buck wit the boron. the only thing is i think the agent is sintered and the boron is sintruded but yea both are good boards and they had the boron on sale for like real cheap too check it out i jus finished buyin an omatic sweet for next season cant wait to take it out!

that's great news so far.. haha
so boron is the way to go for now?.. i can carve down a mountain perfectly fine.. black diamonds etc aren't really a problem... i'd say i'm just more getting into the park aspect now. i am now pretty comfortable hitting the jumps, boxes and rails (just simple stuff no spins or anything yet.. haha) but want to learn more.. so is 148 good for me? |
