*sniffle* goodbye Grudge... hello new set up - Snowboarding Forum

The back story:
Well, went out for what will likely be my last resort weekend this season... and along with twisting my knee, managed to somehow separate a HUGE chunk of the top sheet on my forum grudge. (Didn't even do anything bad to it... but it's barely out of warranty, and i'm kinda pissed.) And, well... while my Grudge was good to me while it lasted, I now feel a bit bitter at forum for the poor craftsmanship. I've begrudgingly (buh dun TSSS!) decided to leave Forum behind. I was planning on getting a new powder board this summer too, so I am now getting a whole new set up whilst the prices are good.

The plan:
So now it's time to pick the new sticks. I'm thinking I'll pick up a Rome Notch 168 for my powder board, and a Lib Tech Dark Series 158 MTX for the park. Thoughts? (I'm pretty set on the Notch, but could particularly use suggestions for the park board.)

Oh, and i'm probably keeping the bindings off my forum for the park board, anybody got any favorites for the freeride set up? (I was thinking of keeping it Rome and going with the Arsenals.)

go with the arsenals for the notch, why not? they are cheaper, and stiffer bindings. a great value for the price.

im not so sure about the dark for a park board though. are you more interested in jumping or rails? a mix?

more jumps than rails, not much into the jibbing thing.
