Board Length

i know this is another annoying question but i wanted some feedback
im 5'8 and weigh 120 pounds and have a size US 8 boot. i ride mostly park now and was wondering would a size 148 board be good for me? i mostly do boxes, rails, and ground tricks not much jumps

thanks

I probably couldnt help you there, Im 5'8 120 pounds size 11 feet but I ride a 158 even though I do mostly park,a 158 is big but If I do fine in park with a 158 you could probably go anywhere from that 148 to like 155

Yeah, this will work just fine. I weigh the same and have the same boot size and i ride a 147 so you'll be fine.

For park I would probably put you one something just a little bit smaller, but that will probably work for you.

you could go smaller if you wanted too.

A 148 is fine. However, you could go to a 144/145 if you wanted.

iKimshi 04-13-2009 05:28 PM

what would be the advantages of going smaller?

return2heaven 04-13-2009 06:12 PM

smaller size gives you less swing weight for your 270 on's and 270 off's as well as your airs, i can't think of anything else...

iKimshi 04-13-2009 07:44 PM

o that make sense
thanks lol

Smaller board means more control. You want a longer one in powder so you don't sink.
