Street Dweller, Let you on park with it or not? - Snowboarding Forum

Hey the name pretty much describes itself but I just bought one of these old street dwellers for like 79 bucks on ebay and i want to take it to the park ( i also have a 148 Youngblood from 2006 also ) i dont want to have to buy a pair of bindings for the other board so can someone please shed some light on my situation? i dont want to be scared to bring my board to the slopes because they wont let me on so please tell me if you think theyll care that its "edgeless" or if you think theyd let it slide. I know many people de-tune their boards also.

Honestly I can't see anybody noticing it so I can't see a problem. I wouldn't have thought it would be a problem if they did notice.

Oh i have been told its prohibited to use a snowboard without metal edges

Where abouts do you ride? I've never encountered any rules like that but if you live in the US I've never ridden there so some places might be funny?

I've got guys at my local mountain with edgeless boards. If you're at a smallish resort I wouldn't worry about it

Yeah where I've been in WI and MI there are no rules like that...so I say just go for it!

Hmm alright thanks for the tip, im not big on jumps really im mostly a rails kinda guy so this should be a good board for me then, i think itll be better for me then my youngblood
