OK, I'm a beginner snowboarder but I want to buy a board for myself. I decided to go with a Burton Custom 156 with 10 Hail boots. The only thing I'm undecided is about the bindings. I heard the Cartel are made for the Custom but some expert told me that they will be too stiff for me and I should go with the Triad. What do you guys suggest? Which will be better under what circumstances? I'm a beginner as mentioned earlier who rides all mountain and wants to get into freestyle later on. Also, what bindings size should I go with? I have heard that Burton boots are a little smaller than other brands boots and that a medium would be good for me, but also I have been told to get large.

deffinitly get a medium, you don't want to be regretting carrying around all that extra weight for nothing.
I would get the Triads because I think they look cooler/better padded. I also think that I personally wouldnt be able to tell much of a difference anyway. But if you can look beyond Burton, you might find some pretty leigt bindings as well for better prices |
