Hey great site. I want to get a board for myself. I'm 6'4 230 lbs. Size 13 boot. Looking at the Burton Custom, the Arbor Roundhouse or something in that nature. There is an REI in town and i want to purchase there so i can return it if i am not satisfied. Pretty much freeriding is my style. I have been boarding three times and rented and I am looking to purchase. Would I be crazy to buy an intermediate board? What length should i get? Thanks for all the help!

The Rome Machine won't come long enough for you, check out the flag in a 168 that's what I'm riding and i'm 6'3 240lbs with a 13. Also look into the Ride Decade wide or the Ride Yukon both are excellent free-ride boards. In terms of the Burton the make a Custom X wide then there's the Bullet also, but I personally think other choices are better....

Both the Burton Custom and Custom X come in a wide version though they are a bit spendy. Here are some boards to look at. What is your price range?
