Which snowboard? - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys, new here, but basically I have a semi important question. I have the opportunity to get one of two snowboards. Salomon Acid or a Salomon Special. I am not a park rider, but I am looking to start heavy park riding next year, or at least attempt to. I current have a K2 satellite which I need to replace with a more flexible board. This season I have been doing a lot of trail blazing, hitting fresh powder, getting big air of cliffs and random jumps off of runs. Next season I hope to try more park, and finally get the 540 out of my system, without falling. The Acid is a 155 and the Special is a 159. I am around 179cm, or around 5'10 for you imperial guys.

Both boards seem like a good deal, and I can get both at the same price... so which one?
Or is there another board I should consider at the $250CND price tag?

dont know much about those boards but you can check their website and if your going for park then see which one of those has a better flex

Weight? Weird, umm I'm 71kgs (or 156lb's) approx.

WWW, the weapon? I was looking that board... but didn't seem very flexible... besides, where do you find it for $250 in Vancouver?

I'm pretty sure the weapon would work perfect for heavy park riding, but yeah I guess I don't know where you could get it for 250 out there, dogfunk doesn't work for you right?

I looked at the WWW awhile back, but I don't know how much time I will spend in the park. I guess having a flexible light board for freestyle won't hurt. Right? lol

lol well if your trying to get into park, that seems like one of the best boards to do it with...plus its on the cheaper side
