Hi all! Received my Omatic Celebrity board. I just wanted to share the fact that between the board art, the info sticker on the base, and the Omatic website info, the features and specs contradict each other big time. I dunno what the hell to believe.

Board art:

-154cm
-Smartcore wood (there's a "Smartwood" AND "smartcore" on the website)
-IBEAM carbon beam


Base sticker:

-155cm
-Clevercore wood
-XBEAM carbon beam
-"VertWall" sidewall
-Freestyle flex pattern
-7 outta 11 on the flex meter

Website:

-155cm
-Clevercore wood
-XBEAM carbon beam
-"DUALSLANT" AND?? "VertWall" sidewall
-Park flex pattern
-8 outta 11 on flex meter


As you can see, between the 3 sources of info, my board has differing length, stiffness, flex pattern, wood core, sidewall, and carbon arrangements. WTF!

I have no idea. It's hard to find on the artwork. I think I recall from one of other threads that Omatic baords are made in China.

well i would believe the board art when it comes to the length cuz i doubt thats wrong. Maybe they just packaged the wrong stickers with the board, i have an omatic sweet if i were you jus go with what the website says and the board length written on the topsheet of your board.

How do I measure a snowboard? Use a tapemeasure following the curvature of the board from tip to tail? Or tip to tail directly?

This is bugging the hell outta me. I mean, given the price, I'm gonna ride it and not complain, but as a consumer, I want to know exactly what I bought... it's a pretty damn stiff board, btw. Definitely not a tweaky noodle board.

Eh board length can determine on a few different things. Did they measure it before they pressed it, contact point to contact point, measure it tip to tail after being pressed.

They're made by TSF btw.
