need help deciding board size - Snowboarding Forum

hey guys.. was wondering if you think a 151 or 155 bataleon evil twin would be better for me. i'm around 5'7" to 5'8" and weigh about 150. i ride groomers, jumps(looking to do some big jumps next year and work on doing 3s and maybe some 5s), do some tree riding, high speed runs. im not really concerned about rails/boxes too much but i wouldnt mind hitting a couple here and there. i've been riding a 07 burton air 157 wit cartels so i can deff handle a bigger board if necessary. Was also looking at the riot and both seem to be great boards. thanks for help guys

I would go for the 155...

Because for what you would want to be doing you would most likely want to shoot for the 153 range, and I always have been more comfortable on a larger board, rather then a smaller one.

Assuming you are in the recomended weight range for both decks, then go with a 155. From what you say you want to be doing, you'll get a bit more stability with a longer edge.

what other boards besides bataleons would you guys recommend for the type of stuff im looking to do?

2010 Capita Indoor Survival in 154 or 156 might be a good alternative.

im really tempted to grab riot cuz of tbt and all the goods things ive heard about it.. seems like its worth the investment. im not too keen on the 2010 graphics over the 09 esp since the changes are only cosmetic but not too sure how many 09 riots are out there either
