Burton Custom?

Hey guys, I've been riding an '06 Burton Bullet for the past few years. While I like it, I feel like it might be time for a new board. My main problem with the Bullet is the lack of flex. It's pretty good for free riding, but when i get to the park, its pretty stiff and unforgiving. Besides that, to do presses on it, i have to throw all my weight on to the side i want to press.

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get a burton custom for my new board. I've heard great things about them. How flexy are they? I know that they're great park boards, but do they hold up decently in powder and while freeriding on the mountain?

if you think the bullet is stiff, then the custom will be a stiff.the custom is a 5 on the scale, and the bullet ,is a 2. just sayin

really? i thought the lower the number is, the more flex the board has. if what you're saying is the case, then the bullet would be one of the flexiest boards out there right?

that's what he's saying. if you think the bullet is stiff, wait until you try the custom. it's even stiffer on the chart.

i heard its stiff, and im sure it is.look into the rome artifact and k2 www.generaly a park board is going to be soft, but thos two are real noodles.

thanks dude. the rome artifact looks like what i'm looking for, and it's pretty cheap on sierrasnowboards.
what was the k2 one that you were talking about?

anyone else have any suggestions?

the k2 www(world wide weapon). the forum made it a webside:dunno: but yea, the artifact is a great board, really soft. but just wondering. whats your weight and board lenght?cause that could have a lot to do with the stiffness issue

i'm 5'7 140. i'm pretty sure my bullet is a 157. if i got a board for park, what size should i get it at? like 150?

also, i've been looking at the lib tech skate banana's, and they look awesome

157 is basically a powder size for you
