I don't remember posting that... anyways I suppose it'll depend on what you're looking to do cause the artifact 1985 isn't much more than a park stick and mainly a jibstick at that.

I've seen some pretty gnarly lookin carves utilizing that reverse camber so I think it'd be fun even on the mountain


But personally I'd get the Artifact because everyone here has the banana and its pretty damn played out. (not a great reason lol, but its something that would bother me personally)

here's the thing. i'm looking primarily for a park board, but i want something that can also handle a speed run down the mountain without too much chatter, or edges slipping out.

i'm not sure if the 1985 artifact has bronze edges like the regular one, but i heard they just don't hold very well when you're going fast.

i dunno. maybe i'm looking at the wrong type of board, but if i go with something like a forum destroyer or a burton custom, i'm afraid it just won't be as soft and buttery as i want it.

yeah, the lib skate can be ridden all over the mountain (i rarely hit the park-prefer natural hits/terrain).

i posted some pics in the 'post a pic of you ridding' thread (or whatever it's called). i have dropped 15's and close to 20-footers on the a skate 56, and i am 6'1. i'd rather ride the trs 59, however it has a shit-ass tnt base...

the lib skate is a fun board, very playful and dare i say 'skate-like'. i have not ridden any rome decks, so i am not sure how they are-i hear good things, though. i would also like to add the deepest i have ridden the 56 skate, at my height, has been about three feet, anything deeper i go with a 59 directional twin, non-cambered (seems to float a hell of a lot more than the 56 at this point).
