New snowboard for my son, please help
Hello, my son is already hitting me up for a new snowboard next year.
He really deserves one too. He's put in alot of time on his first cheaper board. He currently has a Zuma wave 138 ( He is 4'8" appx and about 95 lbs) He wants a park board with lots of flex, and good pop. He will keep the Zuma as a second board. I have looked around and what I read on the Rome Label, sounds like a solid choice. So, I guess my question is...Should I go with a smaller 133 for his park board, or stick with a 138, so he can grow into it? How much difference does a smaller park board make? Also, I am open to suggestions as far as brand, and make of board. Thanks guys, you've been alot of help this year. |
Capita Stairmaster Mini Youth is another option in both 133 or 138.
https://shop.moda3.com/store/pc/view...idproduct=9113 Mind you, I've never shopped there but they seem to be sold out everywhere else. Disclaimer: I don't have kids so I couldn't make a recommendation based on experience but the standard Stairmaster is a really popular board for park riders. |
How old and how much do you anticipate him to be growing/growth spurts are another factor.
