est bindings plastic screw washer

ummm finally got around to mounting cartels to my hero (both new), now i already have an uninc with triads so i have experience with ics/est. now sumthing just happened that did not happen with my uninc as i was tightening down the screws the washers pretty much squished all the way down till they just split in half, now on the uninc the washer didnt even squich just stayed in place like it was suppose to. im sure burton will send me sum washers but has this happened to anyone else?

yes this is a common issue with the system. if you don't mess with them too much they will last but if you are constantly screwing and unscrewing them they will wear out faster. any shop that sells burton will give you some washers
