Do you really want to have this argument with me I'll point out all the fatal flaws in the 390's from the last 2 years. Best year of them ever was year number 2. One of the more solid bindings I ever rode then Rome had to be all retarded and make them suck.

Well glad to know I wasn't too off base then, Bought this years based on people's recommendations only to get annoyed with the toe strap continually jamming up under the holster along with it not being anything better than my '08 Ride CAD bindings which I prefer hands down over this years 390's. They're O.k., nothing that rocked my world.

What happens when you take a solid binding and mill it out to make it weigh less? You get a binding that's a lot weaker. The heel cups on them have a weak spot right where it starts to wrap up from under the toes. The new gel strap is stupid soft. It's softer than the first year 390's which became the Arsenals. You flex into that binding and it mushes out so much you lose any support you could have wanted.
Basically Rome took a great binding and made it into the most worthless jib kid binding ever. The highback was milled out so much it lost all stiffness when you drive it into a carve it just folds. The feed guards as mentioned jam up and are worthless just cut them off. The auto thingy that pulls the strap out of the way is cheap and a crappy idea. Rome isn't the company they were 4 seasons ago. I'm over supporting them they make mediocre products.

Eh Forces blow. It's a Drake F 60 with a few modifications and a different name. The heel cups on them shift, every person I know that has them has that problem. Their shit is weak supposedly better for next season.
