Default how to fix a dent on an edge

Looking to buy a used board an it has a dent in the heel side edge. Haven't seen the damage yet , still waiting for a pic. I figure it might be bad, is there anything I can do or should I just skip even if its a great deal.

Don't waste your time buying a board that has impact damage.
