Default Reverse Camber Usefull if...

I don't ride rails and don't get too many deep powder days in? Just heard about them from here and a few other sites and that seems to be the main purpose of that design. I also don't ride the park at all really (except for some 15 footers occasionally) and have a narrow stance compared to other people.

Almost all boards will be rockered in 2010 and they are not limited to park. These boards will be able to tackle it all.

It's up to you. It looks like they've softened the board up a tad going from 4-3-4 to 4-2-4 for 2010 (maybe because the 2009 boards have 20 inserts and the 2010 have 16). The effective edges haven't changed nor the dimensions...the only big change is the addition of the 159cm size to the Airobic line.

depending on the type of rocker the boards are just easier to ride and more fun when trying to butter around and just get loose on the mountain, sure they are easier to press and float better in pow than a regular cambered board of the same size but rocker is not just for that. the downside to most rockered boards (speaking in general) is they can be a bit trickier to land on and a bit squirrelly at really high speeds on hard snow

I'm with Jimster on this. Bataleon's line up hasn't changed by much for 2010, so, unless you want a 2010 board, picking up a 2009 could save you a few $$$.

I guess that would be my main question, what are the downsides?
