so i pretty much completely destroyed my all mountain board (rome anthem) this year and am prowling for a new kit. I'm heading down to chile in july/august for a couple of weeks and will probably bring my hero 58 for any powder/park days but I'd also like to bring a ripper for big mt stuff. i've never ridden capita boards or union bindings but heard they match up pretty well. anyone ride this setup? i'm kind of looking at the black death or indoor living with a pair of forces. good bad average?

dude, i can't demo this stuff now- probably couldn't even find a demo for it during the regular season. i don't know if i would like it or not that's why i'm asking others who have ridden it how it is. doesn't mean anything beyond that.

yeah we don't get demos up here either, but people but WAY too much faith in "reviews" of things and way too much thought into trying to match equipment, sometimes you just have to make a choice and buy stuff and find out what your preferences are. what if someone says its a "bad set up" and someone else says its great?

well. that being said - i love my forces, theyre a great all around binding. im looking to get a capita next year with union contacts, more of a park set up than youre looking at. but im definately sold on union, very durable and imo great customer service. ive also heard great things about the black death inc., i would definately look into it if i were riding big mountain but unfortunately im on the east coast :(

most people on this forum seem to have good things to say about union and capita in general though.

i have a Stairmaster extreme and highly considering a BDI or a FK indoor, capita is definetly my new board company for a while and im suprised they arent more popular on here

I live out in Seattle where Capita is based. I know a few of the guys who work in the local shops and they all love the Indoor Survival board. Plus, you can't beat the graphics on it. "Darling, you're dead to me"...

I have the mid life lost which is the mid wide version of the indoor and I love it. It seems to be a very stable versatile board. I havent had it in pow yet but I have heard reviews saying that it rides fine:dunno:
