Opinions

Hey guys/girls

After your opinions on the 09 K2 darkstar and 09 K2 formula bindings, any good? shit?

Not really after what you have read, heard in a bar from a passing drunk, but rather if you have used or mates use the board/bindings and what they think of it.

Just bought the board and bindings for $700 hopefully it will serve as a good first board.

Thanks Mitch

I've ridden that set up a bunch the Darkstar is a really fun all mountain freestyle board and the Formulas have become my new favorite binding. I've put over 100 days on a couple pairs now and it's the binding I always go to.

You have the exact set up I'm looking to put together.

I already have the 09 Darkstar and have put a day of riding on it (picked it up during end of season sales) and I have to say it's one fun board. Stiff enough to charge down the mountain and soft enough to press and goof around on on flatter land. I haven't taken it to the park yet, so I can't comment on how it'll perform there.

The flat believer is sick if you're big into jumping.

yea, thats what i was looking at. I definitely wanna get more into jumping and all that jazz and progress with rails too. But then I also wanna be able to slay the fluff when i travel out west, so i figured the believer is my best shot, and from your review it looks like you seem to like it. I was also looking at the SL-R, and its a bit of a toss up right now between those 2 decks
