Default What snowboard should i buy for 2010??

Hey, my first snowboard was a burton twin, 154, 06/07. Great board, but im ready to step it up.

What im looking for is a board with plenty of flex, but tough enough to take any hill top to bottom. Ive been learning a lot about board techs, and i would like something along the lines of a reverse camber.

I like the Capita Stairmaster, Capita Horrorscope FK, K2 WWW, Libtech, and GNU snowboards, I live in the ice coast (east coast), maybe another thing to keep in mind.

Im 5'8, about 170 pounds, i dunno if that helps.

Anyways, thanks in advance, I hope this helps me on my mission for a new snowboard, and helps everyone else get alittle excited for the upcoming season,

peace!

I'm SO GLAD that you're looking for a reverse cam board, they really are FANTASTIC. If you're looking for something with flex and reverse cam I would suggest the K2 WWW, stepchild Jibstick, or even the libtech skatebanana (especially if it gets really icy over there), OR the K2 Turbodream which is what I ride and it really is a dream.

Anyhow, hope that helped.

Get the most expensive board on the market.

First, have you ridden reverse camber? If not, demo a cambered board before you buy. Some people don't like the feel.

2ndly, the hill from top to bottom. How many vert feet? You planning on blacks or bombing the mountain? If so, you don't want pure jibsticks like the www and jibstick. Those are PURE jib boards and you will hate yourself if you plan on doing any decent amount of riding.

hes talking about the same exact thread that you posted a week ago, which he directly linked you to.

and there are tons and tons and tons of boards to pick from, give us a bit more detail and someone can help you nail it down to a board that really fits. like what percentage are you jumping, jibbing, casually riding, and bombing blacks?
