OK folks....i havent bought a new set up in about 6 years im purchasing one this year and would like your opinion on the site im ordering from as well as the gear...let me know what ya think!?!?!

first off what type of riding do you do? how much do you weigh? also you never want to buy boots online unless you try them on at a local shop first and know what size will fit your foot. companys sizes run different sometimes so what may fit with one brand may not with another.

Boots need to be tried on in person. Support your local shop. As cro said, what type of riding do you do? It's seems like you're a burton fan, look into other companies as well.

for 50 bucks more you can get these both - Burton Custom Ics which is alot nicer than the duece and Burton Cartel Est bindings (way way way better than customs)

yeah im 5'10 about 190lbs
burton gear is just what i know...so i like to stick with there gear it seems to be excellent quality, although i did find a Capita board i was interested in but im nervous about taking a chance on a different company i dont know much about, give me some suggestions....im looking for a all around board, i do it all..parks, glades, steeps... Im in upstate Ny so i ride Whiteface, Gore, Killington, Jay Peak, Stowe...etc. i also do some off resort...hiking looking to spend about $500 on a package, seems like i can get some decent quality for that amt on the-house.com Last edited by RCstyle7; 07-01-2009 at 02:38 PM. |

Capita is great gear. I love their boards.
Rossi isn't the best gear available, but from my experience you can beat the shit out of it and it'll keep going.
