With this year your guess is as good as anyones. Expect to see shops going off price at weird times. Typically though after new years is when you usually see the price drop.

Depending on what kind of board you want, be watchful if you decide to wait. I did the same thing last year hoping get an SL-R on sale, and almost missed the boat. In the end I barely managed to find one (in TX, I'm in CA), and only found it because of a tip from a board member. With so much of NS's line up going RC, plus all the other takes on camber coming out this year, maybe specific boards won't be in such high demand. Who knows though. I actually pre-ordered a 2010 NS board for my wife this year from a local shop that was running a special back in May of 20% off with 20% down. Weirdness.

I'm actually running up to Boulder next week to take a look at a used '09 NS Heritate. The guy claims it has only seen one run and he's asking $300. He'll have to take a lot less than that though, seeing that I can grab it new for $310 right now. Assuming it's in near flawless shape, I was thinking $225 cash. Other than that, I'd rather spend the extra $$$ and get one in the plastic.

If you're looking for a new NS they simply don't go down in price. The demand is simply too high. Unless you're buying a used one or you manage to find a shop doing a huge sale which happens to include NS boards, good luck. I paid full shot for my SL-R last season and by christmas time everyone was pretty much begging for one because the shops were sold out.

Damn, I really want to get the Premier F1-R for next year but it's too pricey for me as a second board right now. I heard the Premier get sold out quite quick compare to other models. Anyone know other sites selling NS boards?
