Salomon Board Salomon Prospect
^- salomon prospect sounds right for you. at a super nice price too.

Burton Binding Burton Mission
^ burton missions for $90 (or you can get the upgraded ones for $100)

you might want a helmet too. cause if you plan on getting a flexy board
im guessing you're going to be going to the park alot.

googles. = whiskymalitia.com. just wait for an awesome deal. got
my set of Dragon maces for <$60 there.

pants i wouldnt go with anything lower than 15k/15k
jacket same thing.

gloves: you wont really know until you try them. unless you buy like
$70 gloves to make sure they're good.

boots: no one can really help you with that except by saying "try alot of
them on at the store"

and its probably better to buy last years gear cause it'll be so much
cheaper. the technology in the board wouldnt have changed drastically
so the main thing you're paying for is the new graphics and just the
fact that you got an 08 board.

board :200-250
bindings: 100ish
boots: 100ish
jacket: 80-150
pants:80-150
helmet: 25ish
gloves:30-50
goggles:60
-------------
if you keep looking for good deals like on
sierrasnowboarding.com
ebay.com
whiskymalitia.com
steepandcheap.com
you can get everything you need for
under $700.

Check out the online retailers sticky guide on the forums. Also, check out Rome and Drake bindings and possibly the Rome Sanchez gloves. I have those gloves and a pair of Rome Arsenals and love them both to death!!! (But now really :P)

Now I'm not trying to pitch what I'm selling to you, mostly because it's gonna be a bit over your head but I do have a board and binding set up that should fit you perfectly in the FS section... I would love to push it on you and I would if I thought it would be good for you but I can't so I'll skip it.

check out a Ride Decade, or a Rome Solution in terms of the board also I know the Atomic ColdSmoke has been highly recomended for a beginner intermediate board. In terms of bindings, Rome Arsenals, Ride EX/LX, Burton Missions are all good entry/mid bindings that won't hold you back as you progress. Gear, just about everyone makes good stuff... look for 10k/10k and you'll be straight...if it's only 8k don't stress that will be fine also. Goggles go to RememberDelaware.com carries the best ski and snowboard products. they have some VonZippers on closeout for like $30 that are absolutely sick and worth well more than that.
