Sidewall damage help - Snowboarding Forum

Is this sidewall compression easily repairable. Should I just melt a bunch of PTEX around the damaged area and forget about it. Are their any tips or secret getting the PTEX to blend in or stick? Thanks for the help.

I can't tell from the pic, but is the steel edge broken?

No it is still in tact.

there's no secret, just rough the area up with some sandpaper
