Need new board advice.

I have been using my Bataleon goliath for a season and I love it for a playful all mountain board. I was looking into purchasing a new board for more park riding as I plan to focus more on that this year. I demo'd a few board last year and it seems that I really like board with magnetraction and banana tech. (reverse camber?)

The boards I really seemed to like the most were the following:
Danny kass
Skate banana
and a few others that were similar. I can't seem to remember what they were now.

I know that nobody can decide for me but if anyone has any advice on which one to pick let me know. I will be doing medium sized jumps so keep that in mind. I also enjoy doing ground tricks.

thanks in advance.

from what i hear the danny kass will be stiffer than the banana but not like a pow board or anything. both would be dope for park and whatnot and with the banana doing ground tricks shouldnt be a problem at all. ive havent ridden either so i dont know which handles nicer or whatever but i hear there nice. for mag and banana or (BTX)check out smokin snowboards. they are affiliated with mervin which both the boards you listed are from. do your reaseach and figure out what is best for you on that info and most importantly how they were when you demoed. good luck

The Kass is stiffer. I wanted something a little softer for screwing around with ground tricks so I checked out some other boards. The TRS was in between the Banana and Kass. I ended up getting a Gnu Park Pickle which is stiffer than the TRS (they are rated about the same by Mervin), but still softer than the Kass. I kinda wish I went with the TRS since it's a little softer and was easier to screw around on. I weigh about 160 lbs and was riding boards around the 155 mark (except the Banana was 152, maybe not a fair comparison).

As said before, the Banana is going to be a much softer board than the Danny Kass. I would also give a look into the Lib Tech TRS and GNU Riders Choice. Both are good mid-flex boards that are designed for all around freestyle use.
