08 Uninc edge is getting dull - want to sharpen it up - Snowboarding Forum

Hi Guys,

My board Edge on my 08 Uninc is getting dull - want to sharpen it up but never done this before. I'm afraid of messing up my edges on the first attempt.

I was looking at the guide Snowolf has - http://www.snowboardingforum.com/gen...rd-repair.html (Thanks Snowolf!) but I'm not too confident as to what degree it needs to be set to for my board. I ride all mountain so it sounds like 90 degree edge bevel makes more sense.

Appreciate any help on this Thx!

It's really pretty easy to do but if you're that unsure about doing it yourself just take it to a shop. They'll do it for just a few bucks and it'll be done in a couple minutes.

any idea what angle of bevel i should use? i should do this myself or I can't learn from it if i give it to the shop to do. (plus it's a hassle to travel on trains to my local stores in tokyo to get this done)

Base edge 0, side 90 is the norm...
