Anyone try these out yet? They have a hinging base plate for the binding. Could be a good or bad thing ? Haven't seen anything posted here yet about them, what'cha think?

i think it looks pretty gimmicky and like i would break those after a couple days of hard riding. though i havent seen them in person or heard anything else about them yet. just what i think from looking at it.

only Benefit I can see from it is flex. At 36 seconds into the vid, you can see how it kind of bend's/curves rather than make a flat spot where the binding is. I too Question durability, show's them landing off some pretty big shit, but that doesn't mean anything.

These would scare me, if you look at when they install it there isnt alot holding that baseplate in. one hard hit and Id be afraid of cracking the baseplate and riding with one foot on the board, and one foot with a binding attached it flying wildly as I eat shit...
