Default GRRR! online order

I ordered my board online, came to me with a deep scratch going through the first laminate layer I think, (it's white, like what u would see from a stone chip on car paint)... is this an auto exchange? I emailed the store already about this.

from buysnow, to make it worse it was a 2009 model neversummer heritage, not last year's stock. Don't have a digi camera, it's a pretty small scratch but it goes through the paint graphics layer, and I'm seeing white right now, not totally sure tbh if this is past the laminate, or halfway in

not damaged, although when I received it, i noticed it wasn't taped shut either.... (ends of box was partially caved .. every so slightly,, yes i'm being super anal here)

you know, when you close a box, but without tape, and the ends are caved in slightly making a little hole appear... bleh.. LOL!

yeah but you don't need to tape the ends of boxes if you glue them shut, so thats no biggie.

contact the website and bitch to them, take pictures and email it to them

I wonder if I am being anal, I am starting to care less and less about it as the days pass. I reword it better, it's a scratch on the topsheet around 3-4 inches right of the binding screws. It's a shallow chip/scratch through the topsheet (not base/bottom where wax is), with some minor scratching following that chip for another 3/4 inch or so.

LOL, The board is going to get damaged anyway right? no? or should I care because it's a new board?
I don't see wood (brownish right? I see white, u know, like from a stone chip on ur car's paint)

EDIT--
Oh and they haven't replied back yet, wonder if it's because it's the weekend (sales)

You still haven't figured this out?! C'mon man! Either get them to make it right or forget about it.

Me? If I buy a new board, I expect it to be a NEW condition board. No scratches. None. Anything but is simply not acceptable.

The longer you let this go, the less chance you have of getting them to do anything about it. You may have already waited too long. I'd be looking for them to make an exchange on their dime or giving a partial refund to reflect the condition of the board.

Do you need anything else? Maybe they'd be willing to just give you a nice discount on another item? Jacket? Pants? Bindings?
