Bindings for Rome Flag?

Hey all,

I have a Rome Flag from last year. The Rome Targas were too narrow. I tried everything, trust me...they are too narrow for Burton Driver size 13.

So, I am looking for some Burton bindings. Can someone recommend something? I think I would want something similar to the Targa strap system which is a convertible so I could use the front strap for either a toe cap or standard strap. Used is fine.

Thanks!

title says you need boots, your post says you need bindings? did you get the right size targas? if anything, burton boots are pretty low profile and you're like the first to say they dont fit into your rome bindings.

i don't think burton makes convertible straps, it's either straight toe straps or toe caps.
look at cartels or if you want stiffer bindings c60's

Cartels would be most similar to Targas and yes the strap can be used as toe or cap, but it isn't as nice as romes.

XL K2 bindings should be wide enough.
Large Raidens, too.

THERE ARE SPECIFIC REASONS AS TO WHY I AM MORE LOCAL THAN YOU

Oops, I meant bindings...not boots. I changed it!

Thanks all! I would prefer Burton bindings. I have had such good luck with Burtons over the years.

On the Targas. I know the guys at the shop and we tried everything, the Targa XL would not fit my 13 Burtons.

Looks like Burton has a lot of different bindings right now. Are the Cartels one of the better models, good quality? It's been many years since I had to buy new gear so I am out of touch! Used my Burton Canyon/Mission set up for like 8 years! I would want something good quality and freeride.

I see Burton has different style toe strap/caps. Some have a hole, some are solid. Interesting.

cartels are one of burton's higher end bindings. i've had 07's with the full toe cap and last years with the hole in the middle. def prefer the hole in toecap a lot more. while the full cap was much better than regular toe straps, the caps with the hole seemed to hold my boot in even better, and they never slipped off my toe. very good quality!

salomon also has a cool thing with its toe cap where it never comes fully undone, just enough so you can easily put your foot in the binding and start cranking. the toe cap fits my celsius boots really well and the cap barely slips on me while riding. their main park binding are the chiefs.

Cartel it is! Thanks! I asked about quality because if you look at their bindings, it is one of the medium to low priced models.

Cartel or Cartell EST? Does it matter?

you can't use est bindings on a rome board. just look at them. all burton bindings are of the same quality, they don't go up in price based on quality, they go up in price based on materials/features.
