Default Rome Graft and?? Whole setup!

Weight: ~160lbs
Boot size: 9
Riding style: Park/Mt.High if you're familiar with socal
Age:20

Thinking about picking up an '09 Rome Graft for this season. I am currently riding a Ride Control 151 haha. So I think I need to go a bit larger? Was thinking 153 or 155... Any input? Mostly going to be hitting the park, really no freeriding at all. Was also wondering what binding/boot combo would work best for this as well. Going to be getting a completely new setup for this season!

Thanks!

a 153 would be good. i rode the graft and wasnt impressed. i would look into an agent or something else, even the artifact rides better than a graft imo.

shameless plug: im selling an artifact if your interested, a 153

but park boards i would look into would be the agent, ride crush/DH, never summer evo. i can back them all up as being legit

Thanks for the input I've been looking at tons of boards and the graft just seemed to come up fairly often. I'm looking to keep the price ~300$ though. I checked out the NS boards just doesn't look like I can afford them lol. Any suggestions on a binding/boot combo?

Rome 390s are ultra comfy bindings to me and came highly recommended on this forum.. As for boots I got 32's and after about 30 rides the liner started to fall apart. Not like they wouldnt lace, but they were showing signs of pulling out. I also ripped a lace, so try to stay clear of thirty two or atleast their low to mid quality boots. Im looking for new boots also and have been told that since I already have soft bindings that I should look at a mid/stiff boot. Im really looking at Celsius.

Between the agent and artifact does one really stand out in the jib department? would the 390s be my best bet if I go for a rome?

artifact is better jib board and your 390s can go on damn near any board

Appreciate the help... I'm basically just deciding between the artifact or the 1985. Going to get the 390's for sure... What are a good pair of boots, and with my size 9 monster feet lol should I go with M or be safe and get some L sized bindings? Thanks for all the help so far!

EDIT: and I heard about the bronze edges on the artifact being a bad thing??? Are they really that terrible?

If you ride pipe or ice they would be a bad thing. If that's true then you may want to look at a different jib board.

I don't do any pipe, but in socal at night the mountains do tend to get a bit icy... I would still be in the park though not doing any freeriding in the ice...
