The Artifact is no fun on the hill with the bronze edges. It's a jib deck and not the friendliest on the mtn. I would check out the Never Summer Evo-R or SL-R or GNU Carbon Credit BTX (last years CHB with BTX now). Those are a few of my fave's!
You'll find 100's of these posts with the same question here. A lot of it is personal preference. Search around here, angry's site etc. You may also want to demo some boards. Last edited by FLuiD; 08-20-2009 at 03:39 PM. |

Nice...well u know! Maybe some day they'll give me a free board, hehe.Agreed... I REALLY want to try TBT!! Do they even have a CO re-seller? Anyone in CO demo them? I can't say anything good or bad about it as I haven't rode one. None of my friends/riding buddies have 1. I have never seen anything bad about Bataleon and people seem to rave about the TBT. There is some liftie at Basin that has one. I always see it stuck in the snow at whatever lift he is at. They are def not the most common boards seen. I am always down to swap boards for a run or 2 or a day! Swapping with a buddy to ride his Evo before I got mine is what made me buy mine! |

There is a CO rep and I've got an email sent out to him but no reply yet. I've been dealing directly with Joey of Bataleon from WA. I'm going to see if they're going to have demo days and such this season. As far as swapping boards, I'm def down. My Bataleon is a 161 wide though, so that may mess ya up. I have the Ride NRC bindings so I can adjust the height on them which should allow me to ride a narrower board, in theory. But ya, will be in touch. |
