Need Jacket recommendations Please - Snowboarding Forum

So I'm looking for a new jacket. I ordered the Sessions recon the other day and got it today, I like it and the body fits nicely but the sleeves are extremely baggy, Almost un-proportional. So I'm gonna send it back and now I need suggestions for a new one. I'm looking for something with a somewhat slim fit. Around $230 and down. Also the more pockets and features the better. Thanx

Kinda liking the burton system with the burlap twill or purple twill color but cant find it anywhere in that color and size S or XS.

Are you sure you need a jacket that small?

What's your size? Don't forget that you want a coat big... It needs to both fit under layers, and be roomy so you can move around a lot.

I got both mine and my girls coat off of brociety.com

Any Burton AK jacket. They're pretty pricey, but check sierrasnowboard.com all snowboard gear from last season is half off. And possibly Ebay, you can get some good deals on last years gear there too. If you want a 2010 AK jacket it will run you $300+
I recommend the stagger jacket. This is what I ride with and love it.

I cant stand any kind of jacket except 686 or sessions.not enough pockets! Ive tried everything. and 686 jackets are the shiz

Bonfire make nice jackets. I got a Bonfire Cascade and the sleeves are a good size and it's a shorter fit length wise. I wouldn't say it's slim fit, but it's just not baggy.

What do you need lots of pockets for? I just throw phone/wallet/muesli bars into one big one on the chest...

I need a small jacket cause I'm a small guy, I wear size 28 jeans. And I just like lots of pockets, iPod, goggle lenses, keys, phone, quick tool, somewhere to throw my glove liners if it gets to warm, etc. And yeah my old jacket is actually a bonfire, great jackets they just don't have much style to them, kinda bland.

size 28 jeans doesnt mean anything. Thats your waist size not your height or weight. Im 5'7" and wear a medium bonfire rainier from 2008
