Mid Wide board with size 8-8.5 boots - Snowboarding Forum

Hey everyone, new to the board here.

I recently bought a Burton Farm 157 mid wide. I Wear size 8-8.5 boots, and am about 5.9 tall and weight about 185 pounds.

I have about 2 weeks of riding under my belt so still a reasonable beginner.

I wanted to get other peoples views on riding a mid wide with reasonably small boots.

Done it honestly at the skill level you're at you probably won't notice anything. All that's going to happen is a slowed reaction time edge to edge.

If you're a beginner you'll want a narrower board to make turning easier and increase edge control.
