Default New Board how about the Rome Slash

Hi all this is my first post hope this is ok.

Age: 22
Boot size: UK 10
Weight: 171.96 (155cm – 160cm board size)
Budget: 300.00 UK Pounds, about $488 dollars

Ride Style: My ride style is more freeriding but i love my freestyle, I spend bout 70% of my time on the mountain not in parks but I want a flexible board as im always doing pops and 180 while riding.

I bought my first board about 5 yrs ago now and it was a Nitro Team board and im looking into a new purchase. My main issue is board flexibility my Nitro is to stiff and im wanting something with flex. I haven’t looked at boards for a long time so need some help been pointed in the right direction. I have been told to look at Rome, Lib-tech and Burton boards.

The Rome Slash has court my eye is this a good board or am I look at the wrong board im not sure which makes are best so sorry for my lack of knowledge any help would be great though. Please take into consideration although i aint that technical in my board knowledge i have been riding 5yrs so im looking for an advance board more suited to freestyle.

Thanks Guys and Girls

The Rome slash and the agent are the same board the slash is a Wide version of the agent for ppl with bigger feet (and different grafix). I dont know how big of a foot a "UK" 10 is so I dont know if youd need the width cuz if not then just go with the agent

You're right on the cusp with a size 10UK(11us) of needing the slash... what angles and stance width do you generally set your bindings at? If you're not too flat and narrow you should be ok with the Agent... The slash is going to be a bit stiffer than the Agent due to it's width, but other than the width and slight stiffness difference it's the same board concept.
