I'm looking for a DURABLE pair of headphones(dj style) with solid sound quality for this season. Now, before anyone says skullcandy, let me just say NO NO NO NO, SCs are NOT durable and the sound quality is...meh. I've had 2 pairs of TI's now (bought one and warrantied the 2nd) and the first pair broke within the season and then the next pair broke first day up with them but then again..I wreck pretty hard sometimes.
So, anyone have any opinions on some good headphones? I've been looking at WESC and read alot of good things about them and some have the metal banding instead of the cheap plastic which is very inticing. |

Get earbuds. You will break DJ headphones riding, period. I highly recommend Siege audio, started by JP Walker, Jeremy Jones, Seth Huot, and Jon Kooley. Best sound quality of any buds I've owned. The also have a nylon braided cord.
Skullcandy does have a metal banded headphone by the way, the Agent.

Well, I rode with SC full metal jackets last season and had no problems with them holding up. The sound quality isn't the best, but are you there to snowboard or just listen to music? Having said that, I picked up some Siege buds from brociety, and they sound great, and the cord with the wrap around the back of your head thing (so the cord isn't hanging off your jaw) seems like a pretty good idea. Will definitely be using these this season.

A note about the behind the head feature of the stealths, its optional. The cord is split nearly the entire lenght with 3 length adjusters. So its not an asymetrical cord.
